This Free (Potable) Water Filling offers drinking water. The water supply is provided by the Weipa Town Authority. It is bore water for the shallow aquifers under the bauxite. The water for the bore is acidic and is Treated for pH correction and disinfected. according to the WTA the water quality generally complied with water that complied with the water quality criteria set in the Public Health Regulation 2018 and the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG).
