About this site
Dianes Hut is a basic 6-bunk hut located in Ruahine Forest Park, Hawke's Bay region. Built by the Tressider family in memory of their daughter Diane, it's ideally situated for day trips or multi-day tramps. Access is via a private road from No Man's Road, requiring an access permit by ballot system. The hut was renovated in April 2023 by Backcountry Trust volunteers.
