Koaunui Hut is located on Te Waiiti Stream. It can be reached via the Otamatuna Track and Tawai Ridge Track (4-5 hours) or a more common route via "The Wall" Track from the Lions Education Centre (3-4 hours). Note that the huts listed on this page are in the process of being removed.
