About this site
This is a standard eight-bunk hut in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, owned and maintained by the New Zealand Alpine Club. It is available for public use but Backcountry Hut Passes and Tickets cannot be used. Bookings and fees are handled via the NZ Alpine Club website. It is a backcountry hut with no DOC track access, requiring navigation skills.
