Lawrence Hut is a standard six-bunk hut located in the Rangitata and Rakaia Rivers area of the Canterbury region. Bookings are not required, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Fees are $15 for adults and $7.50 for youth, with children under 5 free. Access is via a formed 4WD route (currently not permitted through Erewhon Station) and requires self-navigation as there is no DOC track access.
