Forrest Beach RV Park

A great self-contained RV park located close to the beach offering toilets, showers, dump point, drinking water, tables and bins. Only a short walk to the foreshore and beach which offers a great playground for the kids. 1. The Forrest Beach RV Park site is open 1st April to 31st October. Permits are $15 per vehicle per night. Parking is strictly 72hr maximum. 2. Permits must be obtained from across the road at Mary Venables Real Estate or Forrest Beach Take Away prior to setting up and must be displayed in your vehicle, ensuring clear visibility at all times. Entry to the area without a permit is prohibited. This facility does not issue permits after hours. 3. Vehicles are required to be self-contained. Toilet, shower, washing and cooking facilities must be contained within the vehicle. Grey water can be discharged into a container with the container being emptied into a dump point. Black water must be discharged into a dump point if your vehicle does not have a holding tank. It is not appropriate to discharge black water waste into a public toilet, storm water drains or any other place other than a designated discharge point. Failure to do this can create serious health issues and is a breach of the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The nearest public access dump point is located at the Hinchinbrook Visitor Information Centre, corner of Townsville Road and Cooper Street, Ingham. 4. The use of generators and washing of vehicles is not permitted. 5. Respect the rights of others at all times. Be considerate with your noise level (TV, socialising and music) especially after 9.00pm. 6. When in the rest area, do not hang washing from lines and or tie to trees and poles. Keep all washing within the confines of your vehicle. 7. Animals must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners are to ensure that animals are not a nuisance to others and should not be left for long periods unattended in vehicles. 8. Always leave an area cleaner than you found it. 9. By obtaining a permit, you have agreed to these terms and conditions. Non compliance with these terms and conditions may result in a Council staff member asking you to move on.
