Kiwi Flat Hut is a basic six-bunk hut located in the Waitaha River area of the West Coast region. It is free to stay, and bookings are not required (first come, first served). The hut is situated on a route that is no longer maintained by DOC, but receives sporadic maintenance from Permolat.
